Tim Johnson

General Manager

Tim Johnson joined the Pinnacle Country Club Team in Fall of 2015.  He was previously the General Manager at  The Territory Golf & Residential Community in Duncan, OK since 2003.  He has a very strong background in club management including working for: Quivira Lake & Country Club (Lake Quivira, KS), Omni Tucson National Golf Resort & Spa (Tucson, AZ) and Four Season Resort & Club (Irving, TX).

Tim also has a very strong golf background.  He played on the golf team (1983-1985) for the University of Kansas, participated in the 1990 PGA Tour Northern  Telecom Tucson Open and qualified and participated in three Ben Hogan Tour events before turning his focus on club management.  He started as a Head Golf professional and worked his way into the GM’s position so he knows all the aspects of teamwork and hard work.  He has orchestrated construction and renovations of his former clubs, he focuses heavily on customer service and his culture of teamwork is a “One club, One Experience” mentality.

Tim has been married to his wife Amber since 1989 and they have two children, son Brad 23, daughter Amanda 21.


Debra Carson


Debra Carson joined the Pinnacle Team in May 2011 as the Accountant before being promoted to Controller in November of 2013.  Debra spent most of her life in Colorado, but has also spent time living in Hawaii, Florida & Oregon.  She met her husband Bruce in 1993 and they were married two years later.  Debra has two children, a son & daughter and three step-children, two step-daughters and one step-son.  She also has 7 grandchildren ranging in age from 19 to 1.  Debra & Bruce came to Northwest Arkansas in November of 2010 to help with their very young grandson.  She says it was the "Best Decision We Ever Made".  When Debra isn't at Pinnacle, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, reading, working on family genealogy and gardening.  She has over 30 years of experience in Accounting, most of which were spent in the Controller or CFO positions.  She has a Master's Degree in Finance & Accounting.


Gary Harp   

 Director of Security

Gary Harp has served Pinnacle Country Club as Director of Security since 1995. A native of Arkansas, he and his wife, Beverly, have one daughter, Amy, and a grandson, Logan. A licensed polygraph examiner, concealed handgun trainer, and former trooper with the Arkansas State Police, Gary brings expertise to his position at Pinnacle Country Club. Gary serves as Vice Chairman to the Arkansas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies. With his strong background in law enforcement and security training, Gary provides the residents and members of Pinnacle Country Club with the security and reliability they expect.


Toni Luetjen, CMP

Director of Marketing & Membership Relations

Toni Luetjen has served Pinnacle Country Club since 2011, with previous work experience with Walmart Headquarters for 10 years, Newell Rubbermaid learning the retail business, moving into the sales position with Rolling Oaks Hospitality. She is an Ambassador for the Rogers-Lowell Chamber of Commerce, and Bentonville-Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce, has volunteered for many local charities, a committee member of Will Golf 4 Kids/Color of Hope since 2002, supporting the Arkansas Children's Hospital. A resident of Northwest Arkansas since 1992, Toni brings a strong background as an expert in communications and networking, complimented by her creative ideas and energetic personality. Toni completed her education in 2014 with PCMA (Professional Club Marketing Association) and is now titled Certified Membership Professional.


Lauren Madson

Event Sales Director

Lauren Madson joined the Pinnacle Country Club team in July of 2012 from the Agora Conference Center in Conway, Arkansas, where she worked as the Wedding & Event Coordinator.  Lauren has extensive Country Club experience and has worked at both the Conway and Centennial Country Clubs.  Lauren is originally from Plano, Texas and was recruited to play soccer for the University of Central Arkansas where she earned a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences in 2008.  It was while studying at UCA that she met her husband Kyle, they were married in May of 2012. In October 2014 they welcomed their first child Isabelle followed by a son named James in March of 2016.  Lauren is active in the community and has been involved with Women in Networking, Will Golf 4 Kids & Color of Hope benefiting Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the Charity Challenge of Champions.  Lauren’s energetic nature and passion for creating beautiful events for her clients stand out in every event she executes.  She has a true talent for bringing her client’s vision to reality.


Chase Turpin

Golf Course & Grounds Superintendent

Chase Turpin joined the Pinnacle Team in 2006 and was promoted to Golf Course and Grounds Superintendent in 2013 after serving as the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent for seven years. He earned his Turf and Landscape Horticulture Degree from the University of Arkansas. Chase has had an interest in the game of golf since an early age and has been working in the golf course maintenance industry since 2001. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the GCSA of Arkansas in 2012 and 2013. One of Chase’s most memorable experiences was working overseas at The Old Course at St. Andrews where he aided in hosting the 2004 British Amateur Championship.


Dean Abell

Director of Food & Beverage

Dean was born and raised in South Africa where he graduated in 1992. He joined the 44 Parachute Brigade where he remained active through 1998 while working his way through multiple Food and Beverage operations. He left South Africa in 1998 where he joined the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company.

Dean has an extensive history with The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company to include The Ritz Carlton Dubai, U.A.E.,
The Ritz Carlton Rose Hall Jamaica, W.I. and The Ritz Carlton Sarasota Florida. Since then, Dean has held many other Executive positions to include Club Manager of the Amelia Island Plantation in Florida and Director of Food and Beverage for DH&R in Stowe, Vermont where he achieved the 4 Diamond rating for the signature Restaurant, Solstice.

Dean joined the Pinnacle Country Club team in September of 2014 and comes to us most recently from The Club at Porto Cima in Sunrise Beach, Missouri where he served as the Club General Manager for 3 years.   Dean is married to Kelly and they have two daughters - Piper and Reilly.


Brandon Osuch

Executive Chef

Chef Brandon is a 2002 graduate of the New England Culinary Institute where he was awarded a position in the Advanced Placement Program. His passion for the culinary arts began at an early age from watching his grandmother prepare meals for his large family each Sunday and on Holidays.

Throughout his career he has been associated with three top fifty CMAA Platinum level clubs. He brings 14 years of experience in the country club food and beverage business.  Most recently, he has served as Executive Sous Chef at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland which is the current #1 Platinum Level Club in America. Prior to Congressional, he worked as Sous Chef/Banquet Chef/Chef de Cuisine at Cherry Hills Country Club in Denver, Colorado.  He also worked as the Fine Dining Chef in the Oak Room at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York before moving to Cherry Hills. 

Chef Brandon has been involved in numerous culinary competitions, amassing four American Culinary Federation Category K gold medals as well as a silver and gold medal in Category F. He was Colorado Chef Association’s Chef of the Year Runner-Up in 2009; he has worked two major PGA Golf Championships, a USGA Amateur Championship as well as two PGA Tour events hosted by Tiger Woods.

Throughout his career he has been fortunate to work alongside two distinguished culinary professionals; Certified Executive Chef, Joseph J. Piazza and Certified Master Chef, Daniel J. Scannell. Chef Brandon, along with these gentlemen, continues to set the standard of culinary excellence for private club dining and operations.


JD Hall

Tennis Director

JD Hall has just joined the Pinnacle Country Club Staff as Tennis Director in May 2011. Prior to his relocation to Northwest Arkansas, J.D. resided in Atlanta, Georgia where he worked at Country Club of Roswell as an Assistant Tennis Director for 9 years working with the junior and adult programs. Before the nine years at CCR, J.D. worked at the Windward Lake Academy working with top juniors from the state of Georgia. J.D. is a certified P-1 United States Tennis Professional and was named Head Tennis Professional of the Year in 2007 by the Georgia Professional Tennis Association. He also served on the USPTA Georgia State Board in 2007 and 2010.


Nick Venter

Director of Maintenance

Nick Venter was born in South Africa and grew up in Johannesburg where he graduated in 1962. In 1963, Nick joined the South African Air Force and at the same time attended college [Mechanical Engineer]. In 1958, Nick married and became an assistant golf professional; played in the South African tour and attempted the European tour. Eventually went back to his trade and started to work in the gold and platinum mines in 1972. Was Mechanical foreman from 1975-1988. He then started a construction business and built apartments. He and his wife left South Africa in 1991 and moved to the United States, became proud citizens in 1998, and then Nick joined the Pinnacle team in 2001 as the Club Maintenance Superintendent.


Teri Hennessy

Accounts Receivable

Teri Hennessy has been in the Club business since 1983. She was the Tennis Director for clubs in the NW Florida Panhandle and Houston, TX before moving to Rogers, AR in 1991. She and her husband, Pat, were the Co-Directors of Tennis at Pinnacle and then in 2005, she became the sole Director when Pat was promoted to the GM's position. In June of 2008, Teri 'retired' her position as Director and moved up to the Clubhouse to help with our communications and promotions of programs and events throughout the Club. Teri moved to the Accounts Receivable Office in the Spring of 2016 where she is able to keep in touch with the Members and serve as a liaison for the Accounting Department.
